Even The Sea Obeys Hoodie

When Jonah tried to flee from God’s command to go to Nineveh, God used the storm, the fish, and the ocean to turn Jonah back to His will.

Even in Jonah's disobedience, God's mercy was evident, as He gave Jonah a second chance to carry out His purpose (Jonah 2:1-2, 3:1-2). This story reminds us that all of creation—no matter how great or small—responds to God’s voice. As Psalm 135:6 says, "The Lord does whatever pleases Him, in the heavens and on the earth, in the seas and all their depths."

We hope this serves as a reminder that all of creation is subject to God’s will, and that His plans are greater than ours.
